Do you…
  • Get energized by building AI-powered products that actually ship—and actually work in the real world?
  • Obsess over customer problems and talk to users constantly to validate, refine, and rethink solutions?
  • Thrive in ambiguity, moving fast from idea → prototype → production without waiting for perfect requirements?
If so, you might be the Product Manager we’re looking for.

We’re hiring a Product Manager to help lead Vital Interaction into its next phase as an AI-first healthcare platform. You’ll play a hands-on role shaping our core product capabilities, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, customers, and leadership to turn strategy into shipped outcomes.

This is an Austin-based role with a hybrid work model (in-office + remote flexibility).

About Us
Vital Interaction is a rapidly growing healthcare IT company transforming how practices and health centers engage patients. Our Automated Patient Intelligence Platform combines healthcare data, workflow automation, and AI-driven communication to improve revenue, productivity, and patient outcomes.

We’re evolving from a successful, bootstrapped platform into an AI-native product company—guided by a clear roadmap focused on agentic workflows, hyper-personalization, and self-service enablement.

We’re a remote-friendly company with a strong culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning, and offices in Austin, Texas and Antigua, Guatemala.

About the Role
As a Product Manager at Vital Interaction, you’ll help drive product strategy and execution for our core Smart List Engine (SLE) and campaign capabilities—laying the foundation for agentic, AI-driven patient interactions.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Product and Head of Technology to translate our AI-first roadmap into prioritized bets, shipped capabilities, and measurable outcomes.

Initially, your focus will be:
  • Evolving the Smart List Engine into a powerful, easier-to-use campaign and targeting platform
  • Designing patient journeys that move toward agentic interactions (voice, text, scheduling, eligibility, outcomes)
  • Rapidly prototyping and validating new ideas with customers before scaling them
This is a highly collaborative, execution-heavy PM role for someone who loves being close to both customers and builders.

What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Discovery
  • Own problem discovery for key roadmap initiatives, grounded in continuous customer conversations
  • Translate company-level AI strategy into clear product bets, tradeoffs, and sequencing decisions
  • Partner with leadership to shape quarterly and multi-quarter product direction
Execution & Delivery
  • Work directly with engineering to define, design, prototype, build, test, and deploy new capabilities
  • Write clear product requirements focused on outcomes—not just features
  • Drive fast feedback loops using prototypes, experiments, and incremental releases
  • Balance speed with quality in a regulated healthcare environment
Customer & Market Engagement
  • Talk to customers constantly—shadow calls, run interviews, validate prototypes, and review outcomes
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Support to understand real-world workflows and friction
  • Incorporate customer feedback into iteration cycles and roadmap decisions
AI-First Product Development
  • Design products that leverage micro-agents, automation, and AI-driven decisioning
  • Help shape how AI is embedded into workflows (not bolted on)
  • Ensure new capabilities are explainable, testable, and deliver measurable value
What We’re Looking For
Experience
  • At least 4 years of product management experience in SaaS or platform products
  • Proven experience working directly with engineering teams to ship complex products
  • Experience owning core platform or workflow-driven products
Strong Plus If You Have
  • Healthcare or health IT experience
  • CRM, outbound marketing, or campaign-driven product experience
  • Experience with AI-powered products, automation, or agentic workflows
  • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping tools and techniques
Skills & Attributes
  • Deep customer empathy and a bias toward continuous user interaction
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
  • Strong systems thinker who can connect data, workflows, and outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pragmatic, action-oriented, and willing to get into the details
  • Collaborative partner who thrives in cross-functional teams
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary aligned with experience, impact, and growth potential
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off
  • Hybrid work model based in Austin, TX, with remote flexibility
  • Direct influence on product strategy and the opportunity to shape an AI-first healthcare platform at a pivotal stage of growth
  • High ownership and visibility, working closely with executive leadership
  • Opportunity for expanded scope and leadership as the company scales

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
